The patient should stop treatment in case of unacceptable toxicity. Dose should be modified for suspected adverse drug reactions.

If you have any allergies tell your health care professional about it before taking Nexavar. If you have signs of an allergic reaction ask for medical help. Also, show the Doctor your medical history to prevent fast/irregular heartbeat, fainting or severe dizziness during the course of treatment. Inform your Doctor about all medications you take including vitamins, prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs and herbal products because side effects may occur as a result of the interaction between the drugs. If you plan dental work, immunization, vaccination or a surgery, warn the specialists in advance that you are taking Nexavar. To prevent the spread of infections wash your hands thoroughly. To lower the chance of getting injured or cut, be caution using sharps, also avoid contact sports. Stop using Nexavar and immediately contact your medical advisor or call emergency service in case of any of these side effects: severe pain in your chest, back, neck or jaw, rapid heartbeat, anxiety, cold sweating, shortness of breath, fever over 100.4° F (38° C).
