Dosage

Ribomustin is used for therapy of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
It is an injection that is usually given in a healthcare facility. Do not make any changes regarding the dosage or your treatment schedule without your Doctor?s advice. If you miss an appointment for Ribomustin injection, contact your medical advisor for the further instructions. In case of overdose call for emergency medical help.
Your blood will be analyzed on a regular basis to monitor your CBC counts and function of other organs.

Precautions

Ribomustin may cause slow thinking/reactions so you should be careful driving or doing any other activities that require attention. Reduce the use of alcohol and avoid direct sunlight. To prevent infections stay away from people with flue, be careful with sharps and try not to be involved into contact sports. Do not get any kind of vaccinations without your medical advisor?s consent.
Ribomustin can get into body fluids so people who contact with them should use rubber gloves. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after removing the gloves. Wash contaminated cloths and linens apart from the rest. A pregnant woman should not handle body fluids.
Both male and female should not conceive a child/get pregnant during the whole period of treatment with Ribomustin. Use contraceptives while taking the medicine. Ribomustin should not be taken by a breastfeeding woman.
You need an immediate medical help if you have any of the following symptoms: temperature over 100.4? F (38? C), chills.
The side effects listed below require medical advice, but are not an emergency: nausea; vomiting; diarrhea; bleeding/ bruising; black/ tarry stool or bloody stool/ urine; extreme weariness; yellowish skin/eyes; painful urination; severe or worsening rash or itching; unable to eat or drink for 24 hours or have signs of dehydration.
Always inform your health care provider if you experience any unusual symptoms.
